The case introduction:
This is a marine desalination system treat 15m³ of water daily, installed on a ship for a Somali client. Due to the ship’s hatch size constraints, we split the pre-filter and Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit into two parts for easy lifting and installation in the confined ship’s hold. This unit excels in desalinating seawater with a TDS level below 45,000 PPM, producing water with a TDS of less than 600 PPM, perfect for drinking. It ensures the crew has access to fresh, potable water for daily needs, enhancing their overall well-being and operational autonomy.
