What is a Reverse Osmosis Water System?

Osmosis and Reverse Osmosis:
In nature, water moves from a weaker solution to a stronger one (osmosis). Reverse osmosis uses strong pressure (stronger than natural osmotic pressure) to push water from the “stronger” side back to the “weaker” side, blocking salts, germs, and other tiny unwanted particles.

How the Membrane Works:
The RO membrane has super tiny holes (0.0001 microns). It stops particles bigger than 100 molecular weight, like heavy metals, viruses, and most solids dissolved in water.
