Seawater desalination plant project Introduction:
In relation to this project, it is a matter of great privilege for our company to collaborate with clients from Saudi Arabia.The seawater desalination plant need to treat the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) level of the raw seawater stands at 35,000ppm, and the client has specified a treated water output requirement of 12m³ per hour with a TDS of 500ppm, we have tailored our approach accordingly.
Consequently, to optimize costs associated with land acquisition and construction, the treatment plant has been designed in a containerized format. Transitioning to the implementation details, we have efficiently installed the necessary equipment within two containers, ensuring compatibility with a voltage specification of 380V, 60Hz, 3ph, while maintaining a total power consumption of 111 KW.
Seawater desalination plant process flow:
Raw water tank – Raw water pump – Multi-media filter (backwash pump) – Anti-scaling and dosing – 5µ/1µ precision filter – High-pressure pump – RO (CIP) – Product water tank
Design highlights of the plant:
1.Equipped with multi-media filter, made of duplex steel;
2.Installed two precision filters: 5 microns, 1 microns;
3.RO membrane desalination rate: 99.8% (single tube);
4.The electrical control system is fully automatic, running automatically, with PLC and HMI;
5.The container is equipped with air conditioning, non-slip and waterproof floor, and explosion-proof lights;
6.All pipes are made of duplex steel;
7.Containers provide a good operating environment for seawater desalination plant.

– Product water flow rate (m3/h, m3/day, litres/h, GPM, GPD, etc.)
-Product water purpose (potable, irrigation, industrial process or other)
– TDS (total dissolved solids) of feed water – Is it well/salt/brackish/lake water?
