How Stainless Steel Reverse Osmosis RO System Produce Bottled Water?

The Haiyuan Stainless Steel Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water System is a commercial water treatment machine for bottled water factories, beverage plants, hotels, and community water supply. What Types of Raw Water Can Be Treated?

Stainless steel reverse osmosis system can be used to treat brackish water and seawater, but for seawater, SS316 stainless steel or a liner is recommended, along with a seawater-specific membrane and pretreatment system to ensure long-term stable operation.

Haiyuan Stainless Steel RO System – Process Flow:

1. Raw Water Intake(recommend that customers purchase locally to save on transportation costs.)
Water is pumped from the source (well, tap, river, lake, or collected water) into the system.

2. Pre-Treatment

  • Sand Filter: Removes sand, silt, and suspended solids.

  • Activated Carbon Filter (optional): Removes chlorine, color, odor, and organic matter.

  • Water Softener (optional): Reduces hardness to protect RO membranes.

  • Cartridge Filter (5 micron): Final filtration before RO.

3. Reverse Osmosis (RO) Treatment
High-pressure pump pushes water through the RO membrane.

  • Removes 99% of dissolved salts (TDS), heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, organic impurities, and odors.

If your source water is seawater or brackish water, then you will need to use specialized SWRO and BWRO treatment methods respectively.

4. Post-Treatment 

  • UV Sterilizer: Kills microorganisms.

  • Ozone Sterilizer (optional): Prevents bacterial growth in storage.

  • Mineral Adjustment (optional): Improves taste for drinking water.

5. Pure Water Storage(recommend that customers purchase locally to save on transportation costs.)
Treated water is stored in a stainless steel pure water tank ready for bottling or distribution.

6. Bottling / Commercial Use
Water is sent to automatic filling, capping, and labeling machines for:

  • Bottled drinking water

  • Barrel water

  • Beverage production
